DJ Recommendation-Parties Alive
When I started searching for a DJ, Parties Alive were mentioned quite a few times by friends and even on this site. As soon as I went to their website I felt at ease. The professionalism and class used on their site was enough to convince me to dig deeper. They have upbeat music playing on their site which made me excited, I could almost envision the music playing at my wedding and everyone up dancing. Since I am having a daytime wedding, one of my concerns was having an empty dance floor but after hearing reviews and knowing what they are capable of I am no longer afraid. Even the pictures on the site said it all....the people were actually having fun instead of posing for 'website photos.' I love that they offer various packages to suit your needs and you can even get a glimpse of their employees...always nice to put a face to a name.
We were 95% sure this was the company for us but my fiance and his parents had gone to a showcase to check them out , just in case. Not only were they playing great music, but they were energetic and even announced a contest for all the future husbands to get up and dance to for a discounted wedding package....my fiance doesn't ever get up to dance so I knew they were something special! Their prices were actually already the best compared to a lot of other LI vendors on here and this simple little contest just solidified the fact that hey were not just another money hungry vendor, they actually gave us the chance to work them into our budget without us having to approach them about our monetary limits.
We called to book them, our date was available, we had our contract right away and even had a packet that allowed us to choose the songs we wanted as well as the ones we DIDN'T want. I love being able to customize MY event and not just paying to attend another typical wedding with a predictable play list. I am very much looking forward to my afternoon wedding on the beach...I have no doubt they will far exceed my expectations.
