I am pretty new here. I introduced myself a few days ago. By the way....this site is great! Anyway, does anyone have any DJ recommendations? I am looking for a company that offers a reasonably priced DJ/MC package for 5 hours. We are looking for somone that have experience with Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae and Calypso. Any advise would be really apprciated. Thanks!

I havent booked a DJ but a lot of girls on here have good things to say about FM entertainment as far as pricing is concerned. Also, I met with Bravura and I thought they were really good!

DJ Cody from Alternative Sounds. He had the lowest prices out of everyone we saw. He has DJed at a lot of clubs so I always knew I wanted to use him for my wedding. His # is (516)322-2698

all occassion dj did our wedding. He doesnt do advertising only goes by word of mouth. he was amazing!!! i had a day wedding and he had people up dancing all day and even got people to sing. He was very reasonably priced and doesnt try to push the extras. easy to work with ... and your needs are his priority not money.

Try In the Mood DJs. We booked them for 4 hour plus ceremony and talked them down about $800 from their listed price. Start low and work up to your budget...always negotate. Most vendors will work with you. Good Luck!

We are using Starlight, but they're not known for being on the less expensive side..
I would check out ABSOLUTE, LI sound and Vinny from High Voltage..we liked them all

why don't you try posting the same link on Vendors helping brides... Let them know what kind of music you want and then they will write to you. That way you don't have to try calling all recommended DJ's.
