Just posted same question for photog. Sorry, but I'm really in a crunch here! Anyone love their DJ? We def want everyone to dance their butts off, but don't want any of the super involved cheesy announcing stuff- just not our style. Just music, no video. Must be affordable. Also, any questions I should def ask during interviews?

We're using Tommy's Tunes and love them. I've been to a bunch of weddings with them and they always have a packed dance floor. They have so many different DJs that you can pick which kind of personality you want. And they've been extremely helpful and responsive -highly recommended!!!

LI Sound! They are amazing, very professional, and completely NOT in your face all night - actually they will pretty much be whatever you want them to be. If you don't want them to talk at all except to make the general announcement, they will do that. If you want to be out there dancing it up with the crowd and getting everybody pumped, they will do that too.

Defiantly FM entertainment!! First thing they said is how much do you want the DJ to be involved!!! They are awesome- and super affordable!!!!! I've been to plenty of weddings with them!! You won't be let down!

We were looking for the exact same thing. Good music with the DJ announcing kept at a minimun. We decided to go with a single DJ, no MC, and with AfterHours. We told Phil exactly what we wanted, and he suggested someone to fit our needs. Great price too!

also remember to use the diamond card for more discounts. Some of the names listed above are on the list. I haven't booked a DJ yet, but my diamond card came in the mail yesterday and I am excited to get a few hundred off!

We are using Sound Connection!!!! They are amazing and they really know their music!! FH is Trini and they know all his music, they have a DJ there that specializes in world music , so we went with them!!!
