Help! We are trying to create a wedding budget and want to know roughly how much a DJ would be. We want to do a fairly good DJ but are not willing to blow the budget on it.

For DJ & MC with live percussion for reception... the cheapest we found was around $1700 and most expensive was $2800

FM Entertainment is a GREAT price. They were the cheapest that we found. DJ & MC (basic package) for 4 hours with LI Weddings promotion is $695. If you want add ons like up lighting and live musicians they have a ton of options that you can add on for an additional price.

I think that range sounds about right for what you're looking for. Anything more than that would be a bit ridiculous. Good luck!

we went with Party rock ent their package included cocktail hour, uplighting, led screen with a photographer and zap shots, dj and mc ...most reasonable price we found on the island and omg have they been great to work with so far
