I might get a band/dj because I like the band idea but I know I prob. won't find one that can sing a little american, a little greek, a little italian and a little spanish.

Does anyone else other than Jessica have a band/dj? Has anyone seen one at a wedding before? what is your opinions on this?

Thanks!

We have a band and a dj. We booked Big Hits as the DJ and Powerstation for the band (they're a Greek band). I think it will be fine.

---

Do you know if they will be having any showcases anytime soon?

Big Hits is a Floral Terrace vendor. You can Floral Terrace's website or call them to see when their next showcase will be. Powerstation we found b/c our friends used them for their wedding. They don't do showcases, but you can go listen to them at 'Remy' in Astoria. I don't have their # but if you want it let me know and I'll get the # for you.

ETA: A lot of the Greek bands have DJ/Band packages which probably work out better $$ wise. We didn't get a package deal b/c we decided we wanted a Greek band after we had already booked the DJ.
