DJ / Wedding Invitation

DJ / Wedding Invitation

Well, we finally booked our DJ! We are using Tom and Anthony from Spin Around Sound. One more thing to cross off the list! Now we are heading on to photographers and I have a ton of meetings scheduled. I am exhausted already!!!

On another note, I have a question to anyone....I was just invited to the first wedding I actually can not attend due to work. What is etiquette on gift-giving? The couple is not registered. I was going to send a check, however, is it always customary to send a gift if you are not going? I always thought so.

Checking to see if they were registered was a great idea that is where I would have started. I believe it is costumary to gift a gift if you are not going but am not sure what that gift should be if they are not registared. Did your friend at work ever mention anything that they were hoping to get. A vase is usually a safe bet. You may want to consider it.

Good luck.
We are taking Continental Airlines.

I am actually friends with the groom, not really the bride. This makes it more difficult because (no offense to the guys) the bride is easier to buy for.

I may search around and see what I can find that is different. I can always get something nice for the house. They don't live together yet so they will need lots of houseware items.
