DJ worries

DJ worries

Anyone experiencing a lapse in service with Frank from FM Entertainment? It's been like pulling teeth to get him to respond to my voicemail or emails.

We requested in January (when we booked), for him to provide a Chinese translator (Frank will still be DJ/MC) and for us to be able to talk to him/her beforehand to know what language s/he'll be speaking. After a few emails in April when I tried to follow up, he responds 'We are all set. The translator is in place for your wedding.' But, after asking repeatedly for him or the translator to call me (so we can hear voice), we've yet to hear anything. Not one peep..and it's now July.

Now all these questions are running through my head-- Does this translator even exist bc we've never met nor spoken to him/her..is he avoiding me to get more time to find and hire a translator bc he forgot? Should I be looking for a backup plan?

Is something going on with them that can explain the lack of response I'm getting bc he's definitely not easing my troubled mind!

I am sorry you are going through this! Maybe you can try calling again and set up a meeting to come in to meet the translator face to face - insist on a meeting!

I would stay on top of him. I had a GREAT experience with Frank and he 100% came through on everything he promised. i think one issue might be that is wife used to be office manager for the company but she stopped so now he is running it all and maybe he's overwhelmed? Definitely tell him you're concerned.

How interesting! I got an email reply an hour after my original post! LIW works wonders.

So story goes the translator is out of the country and won't be back til mid/end of July... therefore I can't talk to her until then...

Well, at least now I know she's a girl and you bet I'll be following up! Will update you girls in a few weeks!

I'm glad you got a response. Frank did my wedding in April and he was AMAZING! He was my favorite vendor! When we booked him, I always made contact with Dierdrea, the manager. Sometime mid March, I no longer spoke to Dierdra,,, I wonder if they let her go. She was awful & so disorganized so I hope so. after she left, things got so much better.
