DJ/MC question

If you're having 100 people, do you need an MC? Also, is $1700 a good deal for a DJ/MC + live percussionist? I'm trying to figure out if I should save few hundred bucks by not having an MC.

There should be a DJ and an MC I think. The DJ just plays the music while the MC talks to the guests (to whatever extent u want them too).

$1700 sounds like a really good price for a DJ and percussionist.

We had 100 people and had a DJ and an MC. Our MC was so awesome - it was definitely worth it.

And I think that's a great price for everything you're getting!
