Re: DJ's

I used Body Rock, who came very highly recommended to me.

They did make a few mistakes, but I will say this...they kept the dance floor packed all night long. Everyone loved the music.

The mistakes they made:

1) Played the wrong version of our first dance.

2) We had a live Sinatra singer who sang during the main course. Since we had him, we advised the DJ and MC not to play anymore Sinatra songs throughout the night. Well, they ended up playing 2 or 3 Sinatra songs.

3) I had requested 3 songs be played and they only played 2 of the requests.

The awesome things they did:

1) Kept the dance floor packed all night

2) We did father/daughter dance and after a few moments, we requested that the DJ invite all the fathers and daughters to the dance floor. We did the same thing with mother/son dance as well. This was a big hit and it turned out wonderful.

3) In lieu of throwing the bouquet and garter, we presented the bouquet to my grandparents who were married 65 years that month. The DJ invited all married couples to the dance floor and each couple got eliminated one by one as they 'went through the years'. Of course, my grandparents were the last ones standing. This was awesome and the did an incredible job.

Body Rock is on the pricey side. The mistakes they made, only my husband and I were aware of, so nobody else knew.

On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest, I give them a 7.5/8.0.
