We're using Parameters and are confident in our decision. We also looked into Spin Around Sound and Variety Music. These three companies were in the $1100-$1600 range or so.
Remember, the prices depend on what you're looking for. Everyone has different packages. Eddie with Parameters doesn't have specific packages, he works with you based on your needs.

I'm sorry if I gave the wrong impression. I didn't mean pre-priced packages were a bad thing. I simply meant Eddie discusses the needs first and then gives a price.
We just got married in December, and we used Spin Around Sound. They were the best!! They weren't 'in your face' dj's; they stuck to the type of music we requested; and even made some wonderful suggestions. I loved the fact that they kept in touch with us from the time we booked them to the day of the wedding. It was comforting. We danced and danced all night, and everyone had such a great time. I believe it was all thanks to them.
I have a strong opinion on Lullaby by Billy Joel. I think this is an awesome song. But I would strongly recommend listening closely to the lyrics. It is a song he wrote to his daughter regarding death. I love Joel's music, but in my opinion, I wouldn't use this song.
