I used DJ Teddy... he is one amazing guy!! We actually booked with him because of my DH's best friends wedding! He got the crowd involved if they wanted to or not! He was GREAT!! FM me if you want more details!! He plays all types of music and you just give him a list of the DO NOT PLAY and he WILL NOT play it! Trust me I HAD A BUNCH of requests for him not to play and not one was played!

We had Vinnie - and he was absolutely fantastic. He does as much or as little as you want. Like yourself, I don't like organized dances and I gave him a do not play list and he stuck to it like glue - and then some.
Plus... he is very reasonable and doesn't try to sell you on anything.

Agreed, I used Vinny and he was fantastic! I can not say enough wonderful things about him. I didnt want and in your face person who was constantly hollering into the mic, he didnt do any of this, only the announcements

We used Music By Michael and LOVED him...he does all the music on a laptop and you can create a playslist on-line..and even hear samples of the songs...we didn't want a typical DJ that talked alot...just someone to play what we wanted & make announcements when necessary! (He also did our ceremony music)
I TOTALLY agree - my family has been using Tommy for over a decade at our major events. He's booked for my wedding next year as well!
I said the same thing - no MC if it meant cheesy dances and a one-man show. Tommy and I agreed to have the DJ be alone and make a few important announcements.
