When is a good time to book the DJ? I dont have any DJ in mind to book with and I feel like I should be booking them now instead of looking into the florist. Am I booking in the right order?

I'm in the same boat....I'm getting married one month before you at the NRC too! Next one my vendor list is to get a DJ. But I'm not really sure where to start

Start looking now. They book up fast, and while any florist can do what you want flower-wise (different if you need them to help design, but still, no one remembers the flowers) -- not every DJ will have the 'feel' you want for the entertainment at your wedding . . . . You'll know where to start when you talk to the first one . . . start with some recommendations from the girls on here . . . . .

Thank you ladies for the advice. I scheduled 3 showcases this month with FM entertainment, Tommy Tunes and Body Rock. I'm so excited and I hope I get a great DJ for our big day

I would definitely strart looking. I didn't think it would be that big of deal, thought I would just book one. Then I made appointments with three diffterent DJs and man, they were all so different in personalities (and cost). I would suggest meeting with more than one!
We chose DJs Unlimited, I just felt like David, our Emcee, totally got us and it happened that he came in at the best price! We were so happy!

I already booked my favorite DJ - Dash of Class. I've been to several weddings where they are the DJ and they are awesome!

I'm looking around now. I am definitely going to check out Body Rock (they're the house DJ for our RH) and High Energy Entertainment (how you heard anything about them?)
