DMB Fans: So upset!

I just found out they canceled the big festival they were going to have in the metro area and added a couple of tour dates for July 2 & 3 upstate instead. I'm a little ticked. I was so looking forward to that!

That really sucks for you guys in LI!!

I just looked at their website....they're playing in Mass (we live in Maine- just a few hours away) on my birthday!!!! Sounds like a great bday present to me!!!

I know! I'm going to have to settle for the shows at the Meadows in CT, but I hear the venue is awful. Better than nothing I guess.

Now I feel a little better since I was going to be in Florida during that time! SORRY!!!

I cant make it to the Hartford show since its FH's 30th bday so I am going to the Camden shows this year. Not looking forward to that but after all they have given the NYC area the past few years, I cant complain!

I dont understand why they wouldnt come to the NYC area...almost all major concerts come through this way either in NY itself or at the meadowlands!!

They didn't play Florida last year and I was ticked so I can empathize with you.

I saw DMB at Meadows in Ct about 4 years ago, I was in the lawn section and although I couldn't see very well, it was one of the best concerts I have ever been to.

I went to the same place 2 years ago and I loved the LAWN! It was so much fun...FH doesnt like Dave so he was a little upset and the hotel had a fire that night but all for DAVE!
Im sooooo upset over the summer concert, that was my 'looking forward to' summer thing...WAHHHHHHH

LOL...when I went to the meadows a 'riot' broke out in the streets...when we got out of the concert there was police there in riot gear. No one knew what the heck was going on! I heard that there was some party behind one of the warehouse parking lots and there was a DMB cover band playing during the show for people who did not get tickets. No one got hurt but it is still pretty funny to me, who goes to a DMB show to start a riot??!!
