Do and DH/FH let the dog sleep in the bed or just the bedroom?

When we get ours, we will probably put the crate in our room when it is a puppy, and then when the dog is older move the crate, but FH will NOT go for a dog in the bed.

our dog does...We didn't let him as a puppy. We waited until her was comfortable having a crate before having him sleep with us..We wanted to let him get used to his new space... NOW he sleeps next to me every night. I like it. My dog gets annoyed with moving around so sometimes he leaves and goes to sleep in his bed..

Fiona's crate started out in our room.....in the middle of hte night she would wake up and THROW herself against the walls and scratch at it....so we started letting her sleep in the bedroom and she decided that she loved the bed....she is so cute and so much like our kid that we allow it..
She started out in between us head on the pillow and under the covers....she has since learned that her spot is at the end of the bed. There are nights where she is in one of our spots on the bed, but as soon as we try and get in, she moves.

Our dog has slept in our bed since the day we brought him home. Actually, for a while, DH would sleep on the COUCH and Guinness would sleep in the bed, b/c at first DH was allergic to him.
Now Guinness sleeps at the bottom of the bed, over the blankets, but sometimes he gets annoyed with us and jumps off and goes to his own bed, which is in our bedroom. Then WE beg HIM to come back up, but he usually doesn't.
