Do any of you know about these florists?

1) A & S Whitestone
2) United Floral Co.

I live in Queens and these two florists were recommended by my hall (Leonards).

I tried contacting other florists listed here in LIW, but most were unavailable for my date.

A&S is in whitestone on Francis Lewis Blvd. Not really close to Great Neck. I see A&S as more of a garden center. I've never gotten flowers from them, but they carry a lot of lawn decorations, planting flowers, etc.

To be honest I don't know if I'd use them for a wedding. I'd rather use someone that specializes in weddings

They're recommended by my hall and I have an appointment with United Floral in Great Neck, but I don't know what to expect with either of them.

I used United Floral - Anthony had his own shop when I used him. He is FABULOUS. Make sure your appointment is with him. I absolutely ADORE him - just so sweet and truly an artist. His work is just gorgeous and I can't tell you how many compliments I got on my flowers and centerpieces.

Also Thonglori used him for her wedding on my recommendation and also met with Anthony.

I used United Floral. Feel free to look up my review of them on the brides review board.

CubanBride just used A&S last month and her CPs were beautiful AND MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE then United Floral. They are pretty pricey

They are both REALLY good...especially United...my law firm deals with them all the time.

Thank you!

I've been so wrapped up in getting an apartment, starting a new job, helping my mom through her pre-op appointments, etc. that I've had to wait until the weekend to set up my florist appointments!

The first two people I will see this weekend are United Floral and National Wholesale Florists. I will let you know how everything went.
