Do any of you ladies know what the maximum amount is that the Skylight Room at JT can hold when divided?
Originally when I booked with JT, I did not think we would be able to meet the minimum of 160 ppl. Anyway, after doing my invites and the total amount invited, we are up to 250 total. Obviously, that is not including the people who are going to cancel. I just want to be sure that the Skylight room can hold 230 people or so when the divider is up. I know that without the divider it can hold about 400 people or so but when the divider is up, what is the maximum amount the room can hold? I am a little concerned b/c the list is so long and I've already sent out my save the dates which means I cannot not invite some people b/c it is too late. It's not even like they can take the divider down b/c my cocktail hour is being held on the other side.
Any info is helpful. TIA...

I have the skylight room and we guaranteed 150 people. I believe it is 18 tables (10 people per table comfortably but you can put 12)....you may need the larger room....call them just to see if the larger room is available on your date JUST IN CASE...

I'm in the Pentihouse Room but I believe you will need the larger room.. I can't see that room holding that large of a party without the extra space. You should call JT

Thanks ladies for all your responses. I plan on calling JT today. I know the dome room is not available on my date.

the larger room is the skylight room, they just take the divider down.

i don't know the maximum, i have the skylight room but we are using the whole room. I do know that the dome rooms maximum is 275 and they divide the skylight room if you cant fill the dome room, so im guess around 200 might be the maximum for the divided skylight room...i would think that they would allow 250 in the dome room, its not that much less than their maximum so def cant be the skylights maximum.
Your best bet is to find out if the other part of the skylight room that is divided is having a party, this way they can expand your room if there will not be one.

So I called JT and spoke with them and they told me the maximum they can fit comfortably with the wall up is 210.
They said the other option would be since we are using 1/2 the room for cocktail hour is that the guests wait in the lobby for 15 minutes after cocktail hour and they set up that part of the room and open up the divider. I know if I went to wedding where they asked us to wait 15 minutes in the lobby, I'd be quite upset. I really don't want to have to do that.
How do you go about uninviting friends who you've sent STD's too? I would un-invite my friends who I haven't seen in a while not my really close friends. Also, my mom won't tell me if she's sent out the shower invites yet as that would matter in this situation also. Some of the women I would un-invite would be on that list too. I am thinking I would have to probably explain the situation to my friends and tell them as much as I would want them to be there and I sent them a save the date, the room just doesn't hold as many people as we thought. What do you think?
Any suggestions ladies?

Are you really sure that more than 210 will actually come? Remember, some people on your quest list will RSVP no.

No, I am not sure but I am just scared to take that chance. What if 230 people come? Then it would be very tight in there.
