that's so funny you ask - i just got back from my gyn, and they switched me to a new ortho tri cyclen. there is a new low dose estrogen ortho tri cyclen on the market, so they switched me to it!
Yes they do. I was put on them for Ovarian cysts and the pill I was on was too weak. I continued to get them. They changed the pill and I got my evil friend for two months straight. Not great for the love life. It certainly was BC though.
Yep. Some have more testosterone-type hormones in them, some have different doses of estrogen.
Is it possible that they can be too weak and you get prego on it?
It is possible to get prego on bc - especially if you skip pills...but for the most part, I believe all bc pills are like 98.something% effective.
The different levels of hormones play a role in the side effects that you have. All of them are equally effective if taken correctly.
