Is there a problem if I get my bridesmaids different gifts? One of my BMs says that they should all get the same thing. But they are different types of girls, live in different states, and have different personalities.
Is it a 'tradition' that they get the same gift, or is it ok if I get individual gifts for each one?

I hate when ppl say you 'have' to do something a certain way.
You can give each girl whatever you like. I'm sure they'd appreciate the fact that you took the time to make each gift more personal to them rather than a generic gift across the board. I know I would.

I've been a junior BM in the weddings of my 2 cousins and a BM in my brother's wedding, and all 3 times I've gotten the same gift as all the other bridesmaids. While I liked the gift, I felt it was a bit impersonal because it was too generic...why should we all get the same thing when we're different people?
