We were just invited to a wedding of this kid we consider more of an aquaintance than friend. We figured we were invited because FH twin brother is fairly friendly with him, so he probably felt he had to invite us too. Now the question is, do we have to invite them to our wedding, they weren't even on our B list? I don't think it would be fair for them to get/take the place of someone we would rather have at our wedding.
Are you planning on going to his wedding? If not, then you shoulddn't feel obligated to invite them.
If you go to the wedding then I think you should invite them. if you don't go then don't worry about it.
hmmm....i think I would..it is only two extra people..they must consider you friends to have been invited to theirs
You girls aren't giving me the response that I was hoping for! lol! I don't think that it's they consider us friends, I think they felt obligated since they were inviting FH twin brother. We've never even met the girls he's marrying. And 2 extra people is a big deal to me since we're paying $200 a person.

No don't invite them, but don't go to their wedding. If you only consider them an acquaintace, why go?
Espcially if they invite you out of an obligation or to meet a min, or just fishing for gifts.

I agree too!
I told FH that we shouldn't go, but he had already sent the reply card saying we would. I think as long as we give them a nice gift than that should be good enough. I don't think we owe them an ivitation to our wedding, especially since we're trying to keep to a certain number.
