Do I have to????

Provide transportation to and from the reception hall for guests staying at the hotel? The hotel is 10 minutes from the RH. Please help

I did. DH and I felt it was the right thing to do and also to prevent anyone drinking and driving

it would be nice if you do but I don't think you have too..I would especially if they are out of towners and don't really know how to get around

Did you ask the hotel if they provide a shuttle? Sometimes they do.

The hotel doesnt provide a shuttle so it will cost me around $500 to get transportation.

We provided shuttle service. It's just nice to do so people don't have to drive after a night of drinking and partying and celebrating!

The hotel offered us 1 free shuttle that held 15 p

after that you pay for the extra, worth the $$ and your guests will Thank you

that's how much our hotel is charging us, I was not happy about that one, especially since we won't have too many guests staying at the hotel but I didn't trust some of the guest's judgments on their ability to drive after drinking all day

No. My guests' hotels were 15-20 minutes away from the site and I think that's a reasonable drive time.

I'm not providing transportation for anyone. They will probably be driving to LI anyway. The RH is not too far from the OOT hotel. I just don't have the money to do that.

I was thinking about this the other day...the hotel we're looking at to book for OOT guests is about 10 minutes away from the church, and it's also very easily accessible via public bus. But I was thinking maybe we can call a taxi company and arrange for a couple of taxis to show up at the hotel to take the guests to the church. We will probably provide some sort of limo bus for OOT guests and our friends who don't have cars to go from the church to the RH and back.

We are - our RH is down dark windy roads. I really don't want anyone driving on them at night SOBER. It's too dangerous.

We are not doing it, because i dont have the extra money to spend. But if you do then it is woth it. Hopefully all guests are responsible, they are adults and i hope they wouldnt drive drunk!

I think I would, only b/c godforbid someone got in an accdient or DWI or something, I think youi might feel guiilty b/c they were coming from your wedding??

I just called my limo company and I booked the stretch Excursion. Being I have so many guests coming from out of town I wanted to do this for them.
