wait until I find my dress before I can go on trials for hair/make up?

No. Some of the best hair and make up vendors get booked early.

Just have an idea of what you want to look like. You can always get another trial after you have booked if you change your mind about the style you want....

Agreed. If you know the style dress your looking into then I wouldn't wait. My hair dresser told me to wait but I am booking asap because I looked into 2 makeup artists and they were already booked for my day!

Ok good!! I am afraid that by the time I find my dress and then find someone I love to do my make up and hair its going to be too late!

i don't think so.. have them do an up and a down do so when you find your dress you'll know whoever you get can do whatever you want her to!
