Definitely think the one of the left is perfect for your dress...it wouldn't ruin the look or details of the dress.
I have to agree, if you're gonna have one done, the one on the left would be perfect.

I would get a very simple bustle (even though your salon has control over that.) If you don't want to bustle it, then don't, but I've been to many weddings where people were constantly stepping on the train.
I agree, people will be stepping all over it, and I wouldn't risk it.

Re: Do I have to do a bustle??
My friend wore a similar length dress this past weekend and for the most part carried her dress since the bustle her shop did would not stay in for some reason. She didn't seen to mind it. Here a couple of pictures.
That is quite beautiful! BUT, as a past bride, I have to tell you, that although my gown WAS bustled, it was stepped on repeatedly (and I didn't even have a ball gown!) You may want to set it up to be bustled and see how it goes! Enjoy!

Ok, I really don't like my dress bustled - it really takes away from the beauty of it.....is anyone NOT getting their dress bustled?
Here is a pic of my dress...
you can always to a mini bustle low to the ground, my moms dress has that.
your gown is beautiful!

You probably could do an 'invisible' bustle. It's tacked inside. The dress hem looks even from the outside.

If you don't get a bustle, you have to deal with one of two things: 1) you have to hold up the train with your hand/arm the whole time OR 2) people will step all over your train, which is annoying and also runs the risk of ripping the back of the dress.
do people do #1? has anyone been to a wedding where a bride did this? I don't want to look weird.
My cousin did it at her wedding in July when her bustle broke. She was so annoyed

YES! My good friend did this for what seemed like the entire time! I just thought it looked so uncomfortable!

That is a GORGEOUS DRESS!!!
I think you can get away with not having a bustle. The train is not that long.
But it's a lot of bustle for someone to step on...Trust me..it happens!
I totally agree. I looooove your dress!

It might make it hard to dance/walk all day, I really like the pic of the bustled dress (on the left)...

Re: Do I have to do a bustle??
I would do a small one, because people will step on it all night.
