Do I have to wear white to my RD????

Did/Will everyone else wear white?

Lauren, I do not think you have to wear white. When my best friend got married last Feb. she did not wear white to her RD. She wore a black skirt and blouse. She looked very nice.

I have never heard that before! My MOH wore a black dress to her RD. I dont think I have EVER seen teh bride wear white to her RD! You can wear whatever you like as far as I know!

I didn't wear white - I didn't know you were supposed to - oh well. I wore a black and red dress and I got married on 9/21. I think you don't have to wear white at all - esp not in October.

I think your BM's are playing a trick on you!

You do not have to wear white to your Rehursal.

I don't suggest wearing jeans and sneakers though, and if you think your church/priest is very conservative, you might not want to wear open toe shoes either. A nice skirt and top or nice pants and top/shirt is fine.

You don't even need a fake bouquet although some girls have one but it's not necessary - the rehursal is just to familiarize everyone with how to process up the aisle and the outline of the ceremony.

WHAT??!!! I NEVER heard that.....wear whatever you want! Depending on what our attitudes are at the time....we might just go casual/neat in jeans! That's who WE are....just be yourself hun! You'll be stressed enough!!

THANKS! I never realized it either! I'm a jeans person as well... but the restaurant is not that casual...

I feel so much better! Thanks again ladies!

OH and about the fake bo-k, um, yeah I won't be using one either. I have too many things to worry about rather than making sure I bring a fake bo-k!

I didn't wear white either - I wore a black dress with red cherries on it.
As for the fake bouquet - my MIL brought my bow hat from my shower (she'd had it at her house) and I used that.

First I'm hearing of it. You should wear your wedding shoes. At least to the rehearsal part.

I wore Pink............

Never heard of the white rule. They are either pulling your leg or just don't know.

Wear what you want

Never heard of that either. Its better to save the white for the wedding anyway, its more dramatic that way. I wore a peach dress to mine.
