silly question.... but is my photographer and crew part of the guest list?
I mean... do I include them in the count?
I dont want them to be hungry LOL I just dont know how it works

yes, you include them in your final head count to the RH (for purposes of having plates of food for everyone) but the bride/groom and bridal party are counted towards the Guest List count.
My RH charges me to feed all the vendors (which means at least 6 people, 1 DJ, 1 MC, 2 photographers, 1 videographer, 1 DOC) however they are only charging me 1/3rd of the price. Kids are also usually included in the head count but may be either 1/2 price or free (depends on the RH).

maybe an adjusted rate for the crew?
and how about my florist?? does she stick around? or do they set up and leave??
Am I having to add like...5 to the guest to cover my Photographer, DJ, florist ect???

my RH feeds their preferred vendors (if i choose them) for free or else it's 1/2 regular price.
If we are struggling to meet our minimum they told us we could count our vendors as full plates.

you add them to your final count; but typically they're reduced AFTER you meet your minimum.
I'd only worry about your photographer; videographer; DJ/MC; can't think of anyone else..maybe make up person if you have them staying around.
WOuldn't include florist. They should be gone by the time the reception starts.

ok so no florist, im gonna call my hall and find out.
so it's 3 photographers 1 DJ/ MC
hopefully I'll get a break. I meet my minimum easy, so I hope I dont have to pay full price for them LOL

Same for me. I'm actually not using ANY recommended vendors, so they will be 1/2 price...but I can use vendors towards my head count if I need them to meet a minimum!

i only get a break for kids under 12 ( of which im only having one)
i will follow up tomorrow to find out the cost of my 5 additional vendors
i just cant believe i didnt think of it sooner LOL

I don't think they are part of your final count as far as meeting the min but you do need to tell the RH how many vendors you have (I believe most places charge 1/2 price for vendors or if they are preferred vendors some may eat for free)
