Do I love my dress? do I hate it??

Yes ladies I made the mistake of still watching dress shows after I already found my gown. And now all of y friends are sending me emails of these flash sample sales everywhere. Ahhh!! I know I loved my dress when I tried it on but now I'm second guessing myself! They say this is normal but it's so confusing.


Btw it's the Morilee 2682 from the fall 2015 collection.

I guess I just need other brides to talk me off the ledge lol

It's completely normal to second guess your dress. I actually went back to try my dress on again when I was looking for a veil just to make sure I still loved it. There are so many beautiful dresses out there it can be overhelming.

Don't jump! You chose your dress for a reason and it is stunning and you will look stunning in it. It's normal to second guess but don't let it ruin the memory of your dress and how much you loved it when you had it on. You said it was the one for a reason :)

I had dress regret so much I made my mom protest the charge but then I went tried it on again and fell in love BUT I wont look at other dresses.

I am having issues finding a dress because I am fearful if I pick one that something better might come along. I haven't had that WOW moment when trying anything on and I don't want to settle. With that said, I LOVE all of Mori Lee's dresses. The one in particular is gorgeous! If you loved it when you tried it on and it stood out amongst everything else, then it is your dress!

I have the same dilemma but I am just telling myself my dress is beautiful, because it is, and I am just being dramatic lol. I picked my dress for a reason.

Your dress is perfect! Stop second guessing yourself!!! You can keep watching shows but keep your guard up! Sometimes I'll see a pretty dress but then have to remind myself how very special my dress made my feel.... Something that no other dresses did! You chose your dress for a reason!!! :) I'm sure when it comes in you'll fall in love all over again!

That dress is beautiful! Seriously, you picked a great dress. Don't worry, you'll look wonderful in it! There are a lot of choices out there, but this is the one for you!

I was just like you. Especially with the Mori Lees. I couldn't find a huge selection of them anywhere and didn't want to say yes until I at least tried on a few that I loved. I actually was told one store carried the dress I wanted to try and went there to settle my mind before I said yes and it ended up not being there. I took that as a sign and compared parts of that dress to similar dresses and decided it wouldn't look as good on as the one I was about to say yes to. So I went home and called in my order and haven't looked back since!

Me too!! There was was a mermaid style dress I tried on at RK that I keep thinking back to. But I quickly dismissed it bc I thought I looked to wide bc if my hips. So I keep telling myself if I saw hips then I would again. That dress Randy meant to be! Mine was! But you not alone I second guess if my dress is really everything I thought I wanted! I keep going back to look at my self in my dress to remind me that I do love it! But again deff not alone!! But don't do it your dress is so beautiful!!!

I got it at Bay Shore. It's an Angelina Faccenda by Mori Lee style 1288. It is so beautiful and blingy in person. I am so surprised I got a mermaid, the first time I tried on mermaids I hated them on me because I am so petite with absolutely no curves. But I fell in love with the dress! This dress totally wasn't on my radar before going there!

Oh wait, we already had the discussion about our love for mori lees on another thread, didn't we?! Sorry! Lol

Omg thanks ladies!!! I don't know I guess this is my first bride breakdown. I do love my dress. I just saw Lacey dresses on the show. Today I stopped by a dress store just to try it on... Hated it on me. It's true just because other people look great in the dress doesn't mean you'll like it. So I chose the right dress all along! Thanks ladies!!!

Try not to have any more anxiety about the dress you don't want to get into the situation that you try on another and then love it and then be stuck with paying for two dresses. I know it's hard not to second guess your decision and I think that's why I can't find a dress. I keep telling myself there's something out there that will make me feel so special more than everything I've tried on. So I'm still looking and beginning to think I'll never find it

I think your dress is beautiful! I was worried about getting my dress so far out for the same reason, but just think of your dress or look at a picture of you in it and remember all the other BEAUTIFUL dresses you tried on that just we're not the one for you for one reason or another. There are tons of gorgeous dresses but they're not for everyone, and you already KNOW yours is perfect for you! Take a deep breath, have a glass of wine and ask your friends not to send you other dresses because you already found the one

I'm having the same issue. I bought a David's Bridal dress already feeling like I was behind track in finding one. I went there totally looking for a tea length cutesy dress and ended up with a sweetheart ballgown. Very GORGEOUS but it's totally not my style. It looked very good on me and I thought it was the prettiest thing I wore so far but I'm having so much dress regret! What do you guys think?

I was also thinking of cutting it tea length but I dont know how I can get away with that!

It's really pretty!! If I wasn't so short I would get a ball gown. You could always cut it tea length.
