It's really pretty!! If I wasn't so short I would get a ball gown. You could always cut it tea length.
Omg I know how you feel! I'm 5'4 and the gown was super long. I def have to hem it and I do want tea length but I'm afraid the lady will look at me all crazy. And thanks you guys...you all made me feel better!

Re: Do I love my dress? do I hate it??
I went into RK Bridal, sort of looking for the same thing (tea length dresS), and ended up with a lace strapless gown (I did want lace though, but never expected strapless). This dress (Voyage by Mori Lee Fall 2013 collection)
I too contemplated making it tea length, but someone mentioned that hemming lace is a PITA and could cost me a lot of money. :(
I have shown myself in the dress to many people and everyone loves it and says it is VERY much me. Which I do agree with. I almost bought a mermaid dress, because it looked really good on me, but it wasn't my style. I recognized that the type of wedding I am having, didn't warrant that kind of dress. I wish I remembered what the style number of the dress was though.
I think that dress is beautiful and there are many things you can do with it. Maybe get a nice bolero or accent it with nice jewelry. I can see this dress being tea length as well, but it would entirely depend on how much it would cost to hem for me.

Yours was similar to my second choice dress, Mori Lee 2677. Yours is so gorgeous! I couldn't wear a mermaid style since I'm not super thin, but It is beautiful and you'll look great! There was a reason you picked it and it will look fantastic.http://www.morilee.com/bridals/bridal/2677

You picked your dress for a reason and it's gorgeous! I was nervous about ordering my dress too early and wondering if I rushed, but once my dress came in and I had the chance to try it on again, I fell even more in love with it the second time around!

I'm having the same issue. I bought a David's Bridal dress already feeling like I was behind track in finding one. I went there totally looking for a tea length cutesy dress and ended up with a sweetheart ballgown. Very GORGEOUS but it's totally not my style. It looked very good on me and I thought it was the prettiest thing I wore so far but I'm having so much dress regret! What do you guys think?
I was also thinking of cutting it tea length but I dont know how I can get away with that!![]()
I got my dress but saw this online the other day and I LOVE it!!

Yes ladies I made the mistake of still watching dress shows after I already found my gown. And now all of y friends are sending me emails of these flash sample sales everywhere. Ahhh!! I know I loved my dress when I tried it on but now I'm second guessing myself! They say this is normal but it's so confusing.
Btw it's the Morilee 2682 from the fall 2015 collection.
I guess I just need other brides to talk me off the ledge lol
I LOVE it!! I have had dress regret about 10 times but cant find one I like better but I still look lol

I'm not a small girl either (I think I'm a size 24 in the dress I picked... thanks to my big hips), but the corsets on a mermaid dress does wonders. I could barely walk in it, but damn if it wasn't nice standing in front of the mirror.

Lol yes! I tried that on but ball gowns made me look sooo short!! They are both part of the new fall collection :)

Thank you so much! People are saying the same things to me about my dress, telling me I look very pretty in it. I probably am going to hem it because I'm obsessed with a short poofy dress. My wedding is going to be Sailor Moon themed so it's gonna be nerdy and informal and I don't think the length will match it but we will see how it looks like lol
BTW YOUR DRESS IS SO BEAUTIFUL! I love it!
