I see everyone posting their pictures of theirs but I don't think I've ever noticed them at a wedding. I thought the RH supplies that stuff.

yeah same question about the flutes. I have no problem using the RH's champagne glasses. But should i get my own flutes anyway?

I think its really more of a commemorative thing. I got both the cake set and the flutes. I am going to bring them to my hall and use them. They I will display them in my china cabinet with my china dishes and crystal glasses.

i will display my flutes and it would be nice to pull them out for an anniversary or something. I don't think I would re-use the cake server set so Im probably not going to buy one

your hall should provide you with one if you don't have your own. My MOH purchased our cake serving set as part of my shower gift.

No- we aren't getting one. We did get flutes, but we ended up loving a set of 4 Marquis by Waterford flutes, so we got that instead (so we will have a set of 4 when all is said and done!)

We got flutes from my MOH at our engagement party and I've been torn about the cake servers, not sure if we should buy them or not!

You don't need it. The hall will provide a regular one if you don't want the commemorative one.
We got our toasting flutes free as a registry gift from lenox.

my mom got us our flutes as and engagement present, and our cake set for christmas. If not for that, I would totally just use the ones the RH provides.

My mom got us our cake server set and we plan on using it to cut the cake!
This is, IMO, the whole point of the cake server set.

I got both my toasting flutes, and my server set as gifts from my engagement party, so that's why we have them.
I plan on having them displayed in my china cabinet after the wedding
