Do I need a wedding dress slip?

I have my first fitting Thursday. I do not have my undergarments yet.

I never even knew of these 'bridal slips'! LOL

Do I need one? (My dress is a drop waist and than poofs out.)

How many of you have bought this for your dress? Does it really make a difference?

I have one for my dress, i love it.. it makes me feel more 'bridal' with a poufier dress LOL

i didn't plan on one- I'm not even wearing a bra with mine lol- I want to be comfortable and i dont want to be wearing spanx, slips, or anything uncomfortable that day because i will be in that dress all day long. i don't really think they are necessary

This is exactly what I did. My dress and my bridal undies and called it a day. I was comfortable all day and nobody was the wiser

I'm not planning on wearing a slip. I'm planning on spanx, which I think are necessary for my dress, but maybe not for everyone. I think its dependent on the shape of your dress

I didn't wear anything special for my fittings..they say you should wear what you plan on wearing the day off but I figured I'd want to be as comfortable as possible so basically no bra and just panties haha
