Do I need Birth Certificate for Marriage License??
Does anyone know if I Need to bring my Birth Certificate to get my Marriage License?? I forgot it home in Long Island and plan on getting the license in the city....I really don't want to take the ride to Long Island and back if I don't have to.

i got mine in queens and I only used a drivers license, from what i know the places in the city are the same and ask for 1 photo id

yeah we went friday and i saw a sign on the wall and it said they don't except birth ceritifcates only for domestic partnership/ SO you have to use apassport or license

You said you're going in the city right? In the city or any of the 5 boroughs you do not need your birth certificate. You only need your drivers license.

No idea, but yeah, you don't need it in the city. The $$ amount is also different. I think it's $40 on LI where it's only $35 in the city.
