Do I need to bring pictures of a bustle to David's Bridal?

Hello ladies!
I have my first fitting in a few hours and I have all the stuff I need I believe. I'm just wondering about bustles. I haven't really looked too much into them. I was thinking a French bustle. But my question is do I need to bring pictures or will the seamstress know? Help!

she should know and pin it for you to see and decide if thats what you want...
if your dress is complicated then a pict may help though

I have a silly question about bustles. Can you have any type you want? Or is it pre-decided when the dress is made? I don't know how this works at all.

I'm pretty sure it can be however you like but the seamstress should know what would look best with your dress (at least mine did!)

Ok - thanks! I didn't know if I was reponsible for deciding on a style of bustle! I know nothing about them, so that wouldn't be pretty.

I just went to David's Bridal Tuesday night. She did 2 different bustles for me based on the style of my dress and the length of my train. I chose the one I liked the best. She should know what a French bustle looks like (I would hope!). Good luck and post pics tomorrow!

I heard the same thing and for this reason, I am getting my dress altered someplace else. Where, I am not sure yet - but at a private seamstress.

I got the bustle done there and it came out great! The also had to fix the bottom of the dress cause it wasn't cut right from the manufatcturer and she fixed it perfectly! No problems for me!!
