my gown seems to be supportive and is pretty structured in the bust area. can i not wear a bra? my girls arent huge plus its going to be july so the less layers the better. my only fear is if my dress spontaneously combusts and my boobs pop out.

I don't think you'll have to worry about spontaneous combustion--if that happens, you have a lot more to worry about!
This might sound silly, but try on your dress and jump in it--who knows what kind of moves you might pull on the dance floor? If they stay in place, it's a go!

I don't know. I've never went without a bra out in public, so I can't imagine not wearing one underneath my dress.

I would only because of THIS just wear something that STICKS to you.. so if your top goes down, your girlies stay up.

I'm not wearing one. didnt wear one when I was a BM in my cousin's wedding, and I was jumping and dancing and even one of the GM picked me up and flipped me. all thru that my dress stayed up. so if ur dress is sitting on u well and fits snuggly in ur chest, no need for a bra.

If the seamtress does her job you dress should not move and unless you are large you probably dont need one.
I didnt wear one but had cups sewn in just for a little lift.
