Do know any gardens/park close to my JT

Hi Ladies,
I'm getting married at Jericho Terrace and though their facility has some really cool spots for pictures I also wanted to probably stop by a near by garden or park to get some pictures with more greenery. Can you help?

I took my e-pics at the garden city gazebo and it was very beautiful. You don't have to pay, but for that reason it makes it a popular spot for brides in the area. I am getting married at JT too and was looking into Planting Fields in Oyster Bay. HTH!

how far is from JT, my ceremony is also at JT so I want to make sure I have enough time.

The Garden CIty Gazebo is not far from JT at all. Im not sure about Planting FIelds because I am not familiar with the area.

You could ask JT or your photographer if they have any other suggestions too. Good luck and let me know if you find any places!!

The garden city gazebo is a place that many jt brides take pics at. I am getting married at Floral Terrace and taking my pics there also

I'm considering having the ceremony at JT also, but I'm not sure how I'll have time for pics.

How are you going about this?

roslyn duck pond isnt too far...15-20 mins max. ive seen wedding parties taking pics there many times.

i live near JT...sands point is a little further but not too bad a ride and is also nice.

i'll try to think of more.

The Garden City Gazebo is definitely very nice. It's right across from the Garden City Hotel. I think it's on Stewart Avenue. It's probably 5 minutes from Jericho Terrace.

There's also a park in Mineola, on Marcellus Road, by the Mineola Library and across the street from Chaminade. They have a gazebo. I don't know if couples take pictures there, and if it would cost money to do so. You could probably check with the Village of Mineola to find out about using the park for pictures.

There's actually a very small picture of the Gazebo on the website. I'd say if you're really considering this place, just drive by it one day to check it out. Also, it's soooo close to Jericho Terrace - I'd say about 2 minutes away.
