DO NOT GO TO ADRIANNS

OMG, I will raise hell when I have to go for my first fitting if they pull this crap with me. I have my feelings about that place. One of the workers is wonderful, so when I go in I only recommend to see her.

That's ridiculous!! I've not had personal experience with them, but I know that my girlfriend who got married last weekend bought her Mom's dress from there...well, when it came in 3 weeks before the wedding, they had ordered the wrong dress...They got the new dress in, but WOW!

OH MY GOD! I JUST got a call from my sister crying from there over the alterations, $450! She took the dress and left and is going to Phyliss from gownfind!

I will never do business with Adrienne's in Islip ever again!!! It happened again.....for those that don't know last week I went to pick-up my BM dress for my friends wedding next weekend and I was scheduled for 6pm, well I get there and it wasn't ready b/c they had me down in the book for 7...so I freak out saying it shouldn't matter either way...even if I was coming at 7, it still should've been done. Long story short, I wait an hour and she does what needs to get done, I try it on...IT DOESN'T FIT...so I've about had it & I'm about to seriously cry...a dress that was huge on me, now doesn't fit...***! So I make my 3rd fitting appointment for June 29 (today) at noon figuring I'd take the dya, work from home since I'm coming home for my sister's rehearsal tonight....

WELL, I get there at noon & they tell me IT'S NOT READY...AGAIN! I LOST it, like seriously lost my cool! I was like 'please tell me this is a funny joke' She says noe we have you in the book for tomorrow at noon.....so I'm like ' NO you don't, I specifically said to the woman I cannot do Friday b/c theres to much going on for my sister's wedding, I WATCHED her write it down the last time I was there' WELL NOW the seamstress starts yelling at me, & I'm like HOLD UP...THIS IS NOT MY FAULT, so DON'T you dare talk to me like that. I said this is the SECOND time this has happened. She says, 'I can fix it in a half hour: & as she turns to walk up the stairs I was like ' it better be perfect b/c I can't come back here again'...so I turn to the sale lady and I'm like where's the manager and she's like she's in the main house, if you want to go speak with her..... (Ummm you should be calling her and not having me walk to go fin her was my first thought) SO I walk into the main house and talk to another sales lady who calls the manager and the manager says ' I can't talk to her right now' ARE YOU FLIPPIN kidding me!!! the sales lady was like ' it's a really busy weekend' I said' ya know what if one more fuckingperson says that to me, I'm gonna get even more mad.' I said ' that was your excuse last week'.....SO after waiting a half hour, I try the dress on, it fits..thank god! BUT the woman goes upstairs to steam it....leaving me by myself downstairs with the appointment book right in front of my face......OF COURSE, I'm going to look....& low and behold..there's my name for TODAY at NOON!

She comes back down and I'm like just so you know, my name is right there in the book, I can't believe you all sat here and argued with me about it when it's right in front of your goddamn face!! So she says 'well the seamstress tag said 6/30' and I'm like I DON'T CARE WHAT THAT TAG SAID....MY APPOINTMENT WAS TODAY AT NOON!!!!!!! SO she tells me that the manager doesn't want to give me a discount...I said well I spoke to you last week and you had said 10% off, so I expect that off my dress at the least.....so she gave me my alterations for 75 instead of 90!

I walked out and was like....'just so you know, I have 9 bridesmaids, myself, my mom, my grandmother, my FMIL & a lot of aunts who you could've got business from & I will never step foot in here again. & I'm the KNOT & LIWeddings!' LOL

can you believe that??

I would call them to make sure it's ready....honestly.

I called around 2pm and spoke to sophia she was always wonderful to me. well I am signing off until Tuesday thank you all so much for listening to me I needed to vent to girls that know what I am going thru.
