DO NOT GO TO ADRIANNS

I am due to pick up my wedding gown today and my alterations came out to 608.44 when the cap was 295.00 and the bustle was 150.00.

SCAM

After all of the great things I said about them they can go rot!!!!!

And my mother had to get a new dress in a new shop this past Tuesday beacuse they screwed up so badly they measured they wrong size and could no fix it UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!

but it is on the contract that there is a cap...how is that possible?

That is ridiculous. I have heard so many horror stories from that place. Not to mention, when I went to look with my friend a few years ago, they very rudely told us they would not help us unless we had an appointment. There's a much nicer way to say we only take appointments, sorry. They were so nasty. Don't pay for all those alterations...give them the capped amount and tell them to take you to court if they feel so compelled for the additional money they are charging you. F them!

WOW! Did you ask them to see a itemized list of additional items that were not included under the cap and their costs?

my girlfriend daniella just got married this past sunday and her grandmother had bought a dress there that the seamstress messed up so bad-- they had to go to another place last minute and buy off the rack. they didn't even offer them any compensation

yeah i don't understand that either. wasn't the cap written in your contract? my shop gave me a cap of $200 in my contract. (plus bustle)

I bought my dress from there, but I might bring it somewhere else if this is going to be the case. I will make sure to get it all in writing...just really weird bc at the bottom of my contract for them, it states the cap for alterations...

They needed to order extra material which was about 6 inches so they said it was $150.00 so where is the extra $50.00 coming from. I totally understand they had extra work but $200.00!! and my poor mother but she found a new dress and it is beautiful. I cant wait to get my dress out of there tonight

Neener1211 They needed it for the Corset it was to small and I am tiny. I am so sorry that I told you to go there I had no problems until 2 weeks ago. Then Bam

The cap for my gown from them was in my contract....I got my gown and BMs there; while it wasn't the best experience....it wasn't like that! That is terrible...check your paperwork

Oh, that's ok, I couldn't find my dress anywhere else anyway...no worries!!!

I am not so tiny, so I will be taking the dress in if anything...

I wonder why the corset was too small...if it is what you ordered it at, I don't see why they need to charge you more...I would definitely contact the BBB and file a complaint...ESPECIALLY since you have a contract....

Yikes! I didn't love Adriennes when I went there - I just got a bad feeling - but that's obscene! I would have been spitting bullets!

Believe me I am 1/2 sicilian and 1/2 Irish I can have a huge temper to the point I go blind they are lucky I am remaining calm

I also had a bad experience with them. I thought they were so rude and pushy or completely unhelpful at all. I found a dress I loved there but decided to keep looking at other places because of that reason.

OH MY GOD! I JUST got a call from my sister crying from there over the alterations, $450! She took the dress and left and is going to Phyliss from gownfind!
