Do NOT go to Lillette's in Baldwin!

Original post by KatieChris07

My sister-in-law went to Lillette's this past weekend to buy a veil that she had tried on in August. She ordered her gown in Chicago because that's where she was living last year. Since she didn't buy her gown at Lillette's, they were extremely rude and wouldn't help her.

They told her that because she didn't buy the dress there that she couldn't try it on with the veil. They also said they lost her card with the style number of the veil on it even though she was only there two months ago and wouldn't help her find it. After a few minutes of searching through the veils someone finally came over and said which veil it was, so im sure they had they card and just didnt want to help her.

Also keep in mind that there was no one else in the store so it's not as if they were really busy. They were so rude and obnoxious that she just left because she didn't even trust that if they ordered the veil it would be in the right color or here in time for the wedding.

So not only was the customer service incredibly horrible, but the price of the gown was double what she paid for it. I would really advise anyone from even walking in the store.

SOrry to hear of your sister's ordeal...I've never been there myself.

So far I have experienced/heard just the opposite! One of my close friends got her dress and bridemaids dresses there last year and had a wonderful experience, the alterations were also very good. Since she had such a great experience I am using them too for my dress and bridemaid dresses, they have been more then helpful so far (I have 10 BMs who range in size from 4-24 and I needed something to look good on everyone). They know me by name whenever I come in and are always happy to help me with anything I need. They even remember my friend by name who got married in February !
