How rude!!! I've heard some mixed things about this place, more negative than positive.

Can you as your girls to get alterations some place else so you can minimize the amount of contact & $$$ you give this place? I love my steamstress, so FM me if you would like her info.

That is insane!!! I can't believe she talked to you like that!!! I would definitely not do the alterations there...I wouldn't give them another penny!!

I am so sorry you had to deal with that I would be upset too.

I do want to add that I had a few really good experiences with them. I dealt with Judy, she was amazing! And then I had a problem (my fault, I changed my mind on my dress) and the manager and his wife went above and beyond to get me what I wanted and they were so nice to us. My mom also tried on dresses there and again they were so nice and helpful (we went to other stores for her and they were the best so far).

Also, many years ago my mom bought her dress for my sisters Bat Mitzvah there. The day before my mom went to take the dress out of the bag and noticed they accidentally left the security tag on it. The owner drove to my house at night in the middle of an ice storm to remove it for her.

WOW! I am sorry you had such a horrible experience there! I would definitely complain about them also....but...

I had a WONDERFUL experience there! I went with my sister and another BM to browse through the dresses and we had a great experience and ordered them right then and there! It was so good that I went back and found my dress with the help of CAROL who is incredibly patient and helpful. My experience with her was so good that I went back and ordered my invitaions from them and dealt with two other FABULOUS women (I cant remember their names now).

So I really believe that it is all the 'luck of the draw' in who you get to help you. I also went right when they opened at 10am so i guess they were a little less stressed out!

The place has everything a lot cheaper then anywhere else. You have to remember that also!

In my opinion, go, give it a try. if you are trying on wedding dresses ask to work with CAROL (with the LONGER HAIR) and in the BM Department work with the lady with the shorter pixie hair.

I'm sorry that happed to you too but I had a great experience there so far also. I just picked up my dress on Wednesday. Everyone was really nice when I went. I dealt with Carol in the bridal section (with the shorter hair). She also really took care of my mom when we went for her dress. We ordered my BM dresses there and my FMIL got her dress there as well. We have had nothing but great experiences so far.

I went there for my FSIL BM dresses and think I might order my BM dresses from there but tell the girls to get them altered somewhere else. They are the lowest price around. I think I might order the dresses ASAP (my wedding isnt' until March 08) and lie about my date so the dresses come in in plenty of time.

THey totally screwed my boss's sister too
THey told her 1 month before her wedding that her WEDDING GOWN was discontinued!!!!

Ugh this place is awful, and the guy is too. He was following one of my friends around at a showcase and wouldn't leave her alone!! Then he found out she wasn't getting married, she was just there to support the 3 brides she came with and he turned around mid sentence and walked away. HOW RUDE!!!

I remember going there several years ago and had problems with them also. This was mostly because the dresses they had were for size 8 and under which i am not.

They won't be getting any of my business.

I had a bad experience wioth wedding center too. I went there by accident looking for wedding world.The women at wedding CENTER were soooooooooo rude so nasty and had horrible attitudes!!
I booked my whole wedding with wedding world they are so awesome! i am getting ALL my vendors and my dresses and tuxes from them! the womane are so nice and so awesome!! If you are a budget bride or just dont like to spend alot of money and want to use people who really love what they do, go to wedding world! they are so great!!
