Does anyone have a do not play list for the DJ? We are brainstorming but want to make sure we haven't missed anything.

I didn't give my band leader a do not play list. I just told him none of the cheesy line dance, bar/bat mitzvah/sweet 16 stuff. The only issue I had was that he played 'I Will Survive', which I hate hearing at weddings!!

I think that some people play Carpenters. I actually like the Carpenters, but my MOH breaks out in hives(Literally) when she hears anything by them.
I didn't think it was a weird list until the first DJ we interviewed laughed at it and said 'Are you serious?' Needless to say we did not use him, but he left me feeling like my taste in music was sub-par.

I guess I was pretty specific, No gloria estefan, mariah carey, celine dion, cher, and No MONY MONY, ughh...I hate that song! Oh, yeah no group dances either, especially anything that requires a CONGA LINE!

That's kidna weird. Is there a reason? My friend gets naseous when she hears anything by RUSH. She associations with Rush & being car sick though.

OH Dear God, No Chicken dance and no cha-cha slide cause I heard those songs constantly when I did summer camp and when I subbed in Pre school...
