Do not play list!

Does anyone have a do not play list. Even if its requested i don't want to hear:

Who let the dogs out
The macarena

Anybody else have a do not play list?

FH HATES the song I Will Survive, so that will be on the do not play list. Also, probably all of the line dance songs...although FMIL loves them, so I might allow one for her. I gotta please the FMIL!!!!!

I do too and I always get up to do it at parties but the crowd that we are having would not get up to do line dances, i just know it.

I can't stand that song. It annoys me to the bone. During the summer they hav free concerts and it was 70's night and Gloria Gaynor was there. The song is already overplayed and she had the nerve to sing it in spanish

I dont plan on having do not plays. If someone requests it then fine go ahead. Its only 3-4 min of your life.

Instead of that, FH and I created a 'do play' list, with probably 15 hours worth of possible music that we want the DJ to work with. No requests to be taken. If a family member wants to request a special song, they know to talk to us first and we will put it on the 'absolutely must play' list.

anything that requires a Group Dance! like electric slide, cha cha, macarena, etc. it will be BANNED at my wedding. and anyone who requests it will get squirted with water! lol lol

I am telling the band NO REQUESTS!!! And absolutely No Happy birthday, anniversary, or anything else announced. That's like a huge pet peeve of mine! Especially when it is for someone no one knows!

Sweet Caroline.....FH is in the fire dept and many of the guys sing some explicit lyrics during this song...something I'd rather not have the more conservative guests hear.
