We are family ETA: Oh and 'I will Survive'. I never understood why they played that at weddings--it's about breaking up!

Don't mean to offend anyone if they like the following artists.
I told our band not to play any of the following music :
1 - No line dances. 2 - No one-hit wonder American Idol songs 3 - No We are Family 4 - No That's What Friends Are For 5 - No Barbara Streisand or Barry Manilow or Celine Dion (unless it is dinner time). 6 - No Songbird by Kenny G (other Kenny G songs are ok..just not Songbird).
I think that is about it.
When I think of 1-4 - it reminds me way too much of Sweet 16's and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. I think that is why I am not wanting to hear it during a wedding.

My future husband family was hoping to dance the hokie pokey....I had never seen that at a wedding. My FH and I agreed that we won't be seeing it at ours either!
