DO NOT REGISTER AT KOHLS!!

Just a fair warning to anyone who might be thinking about registering here. I have had nothing but difficulty attempting to update my registry in the store. They were not willing to help, didn't know how to get the guns to work in order to update, told me to go do it online at home, etc.

They then created a NEW registry for me and when I said that I didn't need a new registry, just to update my current one they basically told me they didn't know how. This was the Massapequa store. I left and went to the Westbury store. There, I tried to give them my registry number so they added to my existing registry and not to the new one that the morons in Massapequa created. They didn't take it and just did it by name. So, everything that I added and scanned went on the new registry.

So, now after 30 mins on the phone with customer service, I finally was able to have them transfer the items I scanned today to my new registry. It was so not worth the frustration!!

I registered for Kohl's online.. about 20 items...

The day of my shower.. I got 5 of one item off that registry, 3 of another item and two of another item.. when I went back to look at my registry... they didn't even say 'fulfilled'.. how embarrassing it was at my shower to hold up 5 of the same Lasagna pans! And then have to return them... to get the credit was ridiculous too...

Thanks for the warning! I will make sure not to register at Kohl's!

I had problems with my Kohl's registry too and ended up deleting it and going to Target instead.

I told my mom about this thread. She suggested that I write a letter to corporate. I don't thin they know how much money they are loosing.

I actually wrote an email to the corporate office and received a response back from the store manager asking me to call and speak to him. When I called, his response was 'yea, yea, I got your email.' He was as rude as the staff. I got his supervisors information and am waiting for him to call me back. We'll see what happens but I will be calling corporate eventually as well. It's sad how apathetic they are about their customers. They used to be such a great company. You should let them know how you feel. Maybe if they hear it from enough people something will change.
