do people pay attention or what.......

So I'm devastated b/c I forgot my e-ring today and I feel like somethings' missing. I usually take it off to do dishes b/c it slips off and I left it on top of my window kitchen cill. I forgot this a.m.

Anyhow...I'm at the bus stop w/ the usual riders and one of the ladies say in front of like gazillion people...

OMG What Happened????? was the engagement broken off....oh no honey..its ok better to find out now than later....

of course...everyone is looking like ....

I'm like What are you talking about???

She said you don't have your ring on.... I resp. Oh...I just forgot to put it on...was running late....but everything is fine....she like oh, ok you didn't have it on i was wondering.

Made me wonder...do people pay so much attention? Now i feel worse w/ o my e-ring

i know how u feel i forgot one day & i was like its so weird not having it on now. I actually went home on lunch & got it! lol lol And yes people notice. Sometimes i catch people following my hand as they are talkign to me. ITS WEIRD!

That is funny. I think it is in a woman to notice things like that. I was a a yankee game a couple of weeks ago and I got up to let someone out of the row and the lady behind me commented on how pretty my ring was. And one of my male friends said, 'damn do all women notice rings'

But that's horrible that she shouted you out like that in front of everyone. Thank goodness you didn't break it off b/c what if you would have started crying right there...

Seriously! If she did think that was the case, why be so loud about it?!?! But you should feel good that your ring is so pretty that it's noticed like that! I looooove when I catch people looking at my ring And just like you, I feel naked without it on!

HAHA that kinda ***** that she did that but its also kinda funny. People must think my wedding is off since I havent worn my ring in a like 2 weeks. I developed some kind of allergy to it and my fingers gets all red and itchy when i have it on for a few hours.

For a while i had it on my right hand and one of the older men i work with came over and asked it he was that out of touch with the 'young people' and asked if they were all wearing e-rings on the right hand now.

People notice everything and Jealous ones will always ENVY. A fellow co-worker (who is REALLY hating me right now) had the following comment when she saw my ring for the first time.. 'Holy BLOOD DIAMOND, who'd he have to kill for that one??' My boss shut her up immediately.. Kind of funny.. But like I said people notice EVERYTHING.. Now I make sure I keep my nails perfect at all times.. LOL

i am def the kind of person who always notices engagement rings haha buttt not to the point to ask someone if the wedding was called off! thats nuts. buttt i will tell you that other women notice all the time ... haha like at work, when i am writing up a sales bill (i am a lefty) i have gotten the o wow nice ring reaction. sooo women do notice! men on the other hand ...
