Do people really speak the truth????

I'm still undecided about writing up a review because I wasn't completely satisfied with some of my vendors.

I would hope that people speak the truth but when it's a LIW vendor it's questionable whether that will stay up

I think some people do and some don't....I haven't written a review because I'm still waiting on some things to put up and want to put up a complete review. I will be honest, even though it will make some people unhappy I guess...that's what this is all about.

I defintely will not 'talk up' my vendors and make them seem like they are the best in the world and make others feel like theirs isn't...I notice that sometimes and it is annoying.

Anyone else avoiding a review for this reason?

i actually received a call from a vendor and i still didn't even post my full review with pictures, etc. i am posting all the facts (no opinions other than my rating, just facts) about ALL my vendors b/c I am extremely upset that i picked some of these vendors b/c of masked reviews. so kris, PLEASE say the truth!!!!! i hate when people lie!

Oh Kathy, I'll surely tell the truth! Without a doubt....I'm asking because there is one vendor in particular that I used that EVERYONE else raves about and I wasn't so thrilled...I think that other people may sugar-coat this person's services because of what other people say about her.

i think you should tell the truth, i know i am going to - and if i cant b/c its an LIW vendor i will just write PLEASE FM ME next to their name - thats all you got to say and people will know something didnt go right

im sure there are some people who may talk up their wedding to be obnoxious but i think most brides are just really excited and loved their day and want to write about it - i am def writing a review - i love reading them, i wrote about my eparty and shower so i know ill def be writing about my wedding - i know ill have so much to say but i am going to wait for pro pics to post it....

i think if you post a lot on this site, and get ideas from here, you almost owe it to do a review KWIM?

The problem that I have seen is that LIW will take down reviews if it's a bad review. I think if I end up being unhappy with the service of my vendors I will only post the positive ones that went above and beyond. The others I'll just list as vendors and put I have nothing good to say about them so I'm not saying anything.

That's a good strategy. I might do that too, and add 'FM me for more information if you want to....' Thankfully I am happy with most of my vendors but not all of them..... I won't lie though, it's not right and it's not fair to those brides searching for valid feedback about vendors.

I agree 100%. I am working on mine right now...I wanted to write one to kind of 'pay it forward' because the brides on here are great and have helped me so much. I won't be dishonest...especially about vendors I wasn't happy with including one that might suprise people Thankfully I was happy with most of them....

jeez, i would HOPE people are truthful on here. I would definitely be. It's funny because one of my vendors is actually kinda popular on these boards. He told me after I booked him that he was looking forward to MY review on LIW next. lol. So that made me feel pretty confident in him... just because he KNOWS he's gotta do a good job. I'll be posting!!
