Do pugs get fat?

Now, I know that my dog is a light-weight, so in comparision to her, every dog is big.

But, I just saw my family last night and my cousin brought his pug. She looks HUGE. I could actually fill both of my hands with her face fat.

He said she weighs 23 pounds now!!!

We have a friends whos pug is HUGE! I don't know exactly how much he weighs, but he can hardly walk. She said that he doesn't eat much, it's just that he's so so lazy he doesn't get any exercise!

They can get very fat. My friends is 28 pds.!!! Chewie will be eating the 'light' version of his food when he's 1 year old. We will watch his weight also. He is 17 pds. now.

I actually saw a pug in the vet a few weeks back that was sooooooooooooooooooooo fat you could not even see its face under all the fat rolls

The vet was screaming at the owner - telling her about fatty liver diease and the breathing & hip problems.

My pug is big boned, but not fat
He is unusually large for the breed, he stands about 15' tall, 17' long, and weighs about 30 lbs, but he is solid muscle and in good shape according to my vet.

Otis is the same way!! Alittle taller than most of his pug friends and he weighs about 25 pounds but solid!!

reggie is on a pretty strict food schedule or else he would eat everything and get really big- we are trying to keep him trim

Otis looks a lot like Fascinus from your pics of him....maybe it is a new breed of Pug

they can get fat....
Mine is only 14 pds.....but they can fit u dont watch what u feed them!!

How old is yours? I see him in your pic. Any other pics? What a cutie!
