do u curse alot?

i curse so much and i dont even intend to do it, the f curse slips out every other word sometimes and i do not even realize it!!! how can i stop, is any1 like this

When I'm really aggravated or deep in conversation, I DO have a 'potty mouth' (as DH likes to call it )

I used to be much worse.. I am a lot better now

He HATES when I curse so i try to refrain whenever possible.. just sometimes it flies out of my mouth

Actually, I'm lying, I don't curse really at all. It's just because it sounds really stupid coming out of my mouth!! It's not very natural.

But, really, with the English, it's a way of life!!! I keep trying to get DH to tone it down, it's practically every other word!! I was sitting next to this man on the plane on my way back from visiting a few weeks ago and he made a really interesting point. He said he thinks people swear so much because they don't really know the adjectives to describe what they really want to say...I think it's true...

I have heard similar statements, that cursing is a form of weakness in conversations.

I go through phases where I curse more then others I have basically toned it down in the past few years though.

USUK- that's a good f'ing point.

My mom used to say that cursing too much made you sound ignornant for that reason.

I do curse, mostly to FH as a joke or when I do somethig stupid ( and usually painful) but I use Crap ( although soem say its not a curse) as part of my daily language even at work. I do need to tone it down at work a little.

Change if you wnat to , but not because guys don't like . Cahncg eif you want to be more expressive with your vocabulary, or more respectful, but not for some dude with dumb @ss standards.

I have a truckers mouth. People look at me when I start and they can not believe what I am saying and that it is coming out of my mouth. If you knew me you would be surprised

DH is worse than a drunken sailor on a new years eve bender. It will slip out anywhere, anytime. I was worried, when we got married that he was gonna say, Yeah, I F*kn' do.

He's rubbing off on me too, tho I think I am bit more conscious about it than he is.

Me, I don't curse at all, on the rare occasion I might say S*it - but thats as bad as I get.

I am guilty of this and I have paid dearly. My older two kids never ever picked up on it but my younger one has been known to utter an 'oh sh*t' here and there.
