I'm trying to figure out if we should rent a car. We're staying at the Westin Regina in Los Cabos. Anyone have any thoughts?

I went to Cabo on my honeymoon in June and stayed at the hotel right down the road from the Westin - I would definately recommend renting a car. Taxis are really expensive, and you cannot walk to Cabo or to San Jose del Cabo...they are both really fun places to go.

the two times I've been, we didn't rent a car. But considering where you're staying you may want to. We were close to Cabo San Lucas, so we were able to take a bus or walk. And when we did take cabs it wasn't SO bad since we were closer. (you can bargain with the cabbies, and also split the fare with outher tourists)
Does your hotel have a shuttle to CSL? Most of the bigger hotels do.
The problem I see with renting a car, is finding a place to park in town. Maybe you should get some quotes on prices and compare it to cabbing it a few times.
