Do we really need a limo?

Do we really need a limo?

If our ceremony is at the reception hall, is a limo needed? If so, what would it be used for...just to pick everyone up before the ceremony?

I am going to be ready before we get to the venue, but I am going to put my dress on when we get there... so I wouldn't even be able to take a pic in the limo unless I went back outside.

What do you all think?

I'm not having them. It's really a question of whether you want the photo opportunities with the limo, and whether you're planning to take pics someplace else beforehand -- in which case it's a convenient way to transport your bridal party together.

I do not think you really need anythign that you do not want to do. There is nothing wrong with telling your bridal party to meet you at your reception hall.

I decided to get a drop off pick up since we are getting ready at my house and then going to the reception place for pictures. But that is only personal preference and I was able to get it in my budget.

I go back and forth about this, too. I would just need the limo to take us to the RH from the hotel where we are getting ready. We called airport car services, and found it to be a lot less expensive because we only need the car for about an hour max and most limo places when they hear wedding - they want a 3 hour min.

I don't think you'll need it. I don't think we'll be getting one either, I've already booked my room for the night before at the venue where we're having the ceremony & reception! I invited my bridal party to spend the night with me there if they'd like. My FH might want to get a limo for him and the guys..but that's up to them. I haven't even put much thought into where we'd be doing the pictures! but if we really need to go somewhere else for them, a car or two will suffice.
