We both have Geico. Is it cheaper to put ours together?

I'm pretty sure it is cheaper to have them both on one policy. Also, I think if you are married, your insurance should be lower than when you are single.

You should definitely combine them!!! We saved over $1000 by doing this, including the marriage discount.

there is a marriage discount as well as a multiple car discount. Also, both cars can be on a policy, but not both drivers! You can also have different insured/registered person and owners!!!
We are going to have DH have both cars on his policy but not ME as a driver since my record stinks so bad...once it clears up we can add me on. I own my car and he owns his.

It's definitely cheaper. I was paying $1700 for my truck, now I am only paying about $1100. We combined our auto and rental insurance to one company.

We both have All-state and we were told that when we get married to make it joint, it will be cheaper that way. So that is what we intend on doing after the wedding. I love to save money

If your guy is under 30 it's cheaper if he's married, if you both have cars you get a fleet discount too.
I added Jim to my policy and actually MADE money!! His insurance was so high that by cancelling his policy and adding him to mine when we got married, I got a check from his old Insurance company (state farm) for $900!! off set only by $300 to add him to my policy!
$600 PROFIT!

I heard if you're married it could be cheaper. If you have insurance on your house and other belongs, like any jewlery, the car insurance with come down a drop.

well, if you live together(same household) 'technically' both of you should of been listed in the policy
i would call and try to see what if it would cost multicar discount saves money...once you get married, it will be even less

I have Geico, I called up and told them I was married and they lowered my insurance just because I was married without DH even being on it!!

It's much cheaper! I live in philly, but on my other policy I was paying about $1200 a month... after we got married, I joined his Geico policy, and I was added for only $700... and it brought his down from $1200 to $1000... it's SO worth it!

I have good news....
I saved a bunch of money on my car insurance.....
I couldn't resist!!! We did save ALOT when we switched to the insurance plan togther!!! We also have gieco.

I also have Geico, and I put my DH under my policy and I saved money on my insurance.
