Do you and FH ever...

Original post by Raineyday

Argue??
Of course, we all argue, but I've noticed that lately maybe due to all the wedding planning, tension seems to be higher and we are arguing more
We make up of course, but sometimes it worries me because I dont want to get too close to the wedding and have a huge fight
I guess I just look at arguments differently now that we are engaged and planning our weding and not just dating...

Any insight ladies???

TIA

Not really.

Our motto is: Is this something worth fighting over in 10, 15, 20 years?

Most of the time, it's NO!!

I really try to keep everything in perspective...sure, little snips here and there, or disagreements, but we really try not to argue or fight

FH and I argue even more so since we have been engaged and sometimes I wonder as well. I think it's normal. Planning a wedding as silly as it sounds, is a lot of pressure and stress. you're bound to argue more. Plus I live with FH, go to school with FH and we are together 24/7 so we argue even more. Try to have some alone time to reflect if it's really worth the little arguments.

Its like an engagement Right of Passage.

I told FH today I LOVE YOU but I DONT LIKE YOU.

Everyone says it'll pass. We both have taken on new stress and the engagement adds to it. I say nothing last forever so we can get all the petty stuff out of the way and there will be bigger and more important things to 'discuss' (code word for argue) after the wedding

this was going to be my QOTD tomorrow - oh well!

My FH and I have been bickering alot lately - it's driving me crazy, we were never like this!!!! It's all about stupid things, and it's not like we are getting in huge fights we just bicker about something stupid, get over it and then bicker about something else stupid!!!

Sorry for stealing the QOTD It will still make for good convo 2morrow...Thanks for the insight though everyone has been so honest and Im glad that I am not the only one going through this phase...whew!

Hope this doesn't come out the wrong way, but it's somewhat refreshing to know that it's not only me!!! FH and I got engaged in Jan and have been fighting ever since and we didn't even start planning. The constant issue is money and his selfish way and how I try to control the outcome. But we went on a much needed vacation last week, where we talked about everything and it looks like we're getting over the hump!!! Thank goodness, because I was wondering if we were going to get married at all

FH and I are very laid back and so we've actually never had a 'fight'.

Which I guess is weird. I roll my eyes at things he does sometimes, but I am so non confrontational, I don't bother starting something.

The only person in my life that I actually argue with regularly is my brother.

We do argue sometimes but very rarely. Wedding planning hasn't changed that either. Surprisingly we pretty much agree on all the wedding stuff.

Of course, every couple argues. I think its actually health to argue a bit here and there. I've been so stressed with the wedding and FH and I have been house hunting on top of it...... . Lets just say we are in a VERY healthy relationship right now

I think its better for us to get our aggretion out rather then keep it bottled up inside. It keeps us from rezenting each other from stupid stuff. Its just stress

We more bicker than argue. We get into little snits, he or I will be angry for a couple of minutes and then we'll go back to normal like nothing happened.

FH is incapable of holding grudges and its hard for me to stay angry at someone who is not angry at me haha...so its pretty much peaceful.

This is us....

We argue more now bc the stress has mounted over the last 6 months of planning. The wedding is in 22 days and I am always bugging him,,,,'Did you do this??? Did you do that??? When are you going to do it!!!!?????

Overall we are arguing more, but we are making up more too!!!

FH and I don't really argue alot (yet lol) but when we do it's usually money related. I stress too much about money and he doesn't stress at all.

Before we got engaged we really didn't argue about much or it was just stupid stuff... After getting engaged we are arguing more but it's not like huge horrible fights or anything, it's just from stressing and wedding stuff and our arguments dont last very long anyway... i think its totally normal to argue a little bit

lately we have been arguing more because we are stressed over the wedding. we couldnt even decide on the table arrangements without getting into it. but we both go to sleep afterwards and forget about it the next day, or we give ourselves sometime not talking then 20 minutes later forget about it.

We argue sometimes, but it's usually little and stupid and we get over it quickly.

I don't think that we've argued more since we've goten engaged because he's pretty much agreeable to everything.
