I was just curious. I can't imagine after fh spends so much on a ring this year to even expect a gift at holiday time. do you all make gifts for each other? buy something simple at holiday time? please share..
After getting engaged we decided to do very simple and inexpensive gifts for holiday and bdays. We figure its more important to put that money towards the wedding.
i think since we are both sentimental small meaningful gifts would be nice. I mentioned this to hi and he was surprised. sweet.
We have not been buying each other extravagant gifts lately - just small, thoughtful tokens. We also prefer going to new places or doing different things as opposed to giving each other material gifts/
This year we didn't go crazy b/c we were buying a house and paying for a wedding. Once we get settled we will go crazy again!!
Yes we always exchange gifts on the holidays and on our bdays
We're not big on exhanging gifts just because it's a holiday or bday... we usually do random presents here and there throughout the year instead like if one of us really wants something.
We are cutting back a lot this year because of wedding expenses...just small, inexpensive gifts.
We exchange gifts for all holidays....And birthday's too!!! I'm very lucky!!!
