that i got quoted $1869.72 for 100 invitations???? is that not ludicrous???? it was a place in woodbury and needless to say I AM NOT USING THEM!!!!

that is really not that absurd --it really depends on quality...i know plenty of people who paid $25-$50 an invitation...

Yep.. like I said in another post.. people will look at them for 5 mintues stick them on the fridge and then toss them a few weeks later.

Maybe buy ONE of the really nice ones to put in your album. No one will remember LOL

My mother keeps them in a drawer till the wedding day and then she throws them out. I am sure maaaany ppl do the same. So I just can't justify spending so much money on something ppl throw away. I would rather get cheaper invites and send them home with an extra wedding favor. JMO.

They were probably engraved invitations which are very expensive. Look on www.capturedmomentsprinting.com. I got my invites from there and the prices were great. The same invitation in Hallmark would have cost me about $1000 for everything... this website I paid about $400.00
